How CardVeil handles data

CardVeil may collect account contact information such as name, email address, support messages, saved searches, watchlist preferences, alert settings, and basic usage events needed to operate the service.

When CardVeil uses eBay APIs, we may process marketplace listing information, item identifiers, seller-provided listing content, prices, images, item URLs, and other marketplace metadata needed to identify and score collectible card opportunities.

CardVeil is not intended to collect sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We use information to provide CardVeil features, including marketplace scans, AI-assisted listing interpretation, deal scoring, alerts, watchlists, support, abuse prevention, security, analytics, and compliance with legal and platform requirements.

If eBay user data is received through an approved API integration, CardVeil uses it only as permitted by eBay developer terms and only for the functionality authorized for the application.

CardVeil may share data with service providers that help operate hosting, databases, analytics, email, security, and support. These providers are expected to process data only for CardVeil business purposes.

We may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, or respond to valid platform compliance requests.

CardVeil keeps personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, secure the platform, and maintain business records.

Users can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@cardveil.com. We will review and process deletion requests as required by applicable law and platform obligations.

If CardVeil receives an eBay marketplace account deletion or closure notification for data associated with an eBay user, we will delete or de-identify the applicable eBay user data unless retention is legally required.

CardVeil uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, and disclosure.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to limit access to data and use it only for legitimate operating and compliance purposes.
